I am planning to build an IB system using a manifold for four 15" Dayton 8-ohm, 350 watt, drivers (part #IB385-8). My question is, can I wire them in pairs?
That is, can I power two in parallel using the left channel of, say, a 600 watt, 4-ohm amp, and the other two using the right channel?
Thanks.

I have another question on my IB installation:
I am planning to use a metal grill to cover the manifold where it pokes through the wall, either a cold air vent cover or some other decorative metal cover, because I need to paint the cover to match the wall.
My question is whether I need to increase the size of the opening into the room to account for the fact that a metal cover would block the opening a bit, as compared to speaker grill cloth.
What does anyone think? Is this a problem? Thanks for any help with this.

Depends on how much the metal closes off the opening.
If you have the ability to adjust the size of the opening to compensate for the grill it can't hurt
