So I'm thinking of building two manifolds, each with 2 18" Fi.Q woofers. The manifolds will be in the basement, with the openings in the floor at the front of the room. I'm estimating that the woofers will be about 7 to 8 ft from the CRT tv. Is it likely that magnetic interference will be a problem with the tv?

There is no magic distance, being under a floor is going to be quite helpful, other than that it's totally dependent on how well the CRT itself is shielded.

my IB is 3 feet from my Plasma... I don't think you'll have any issues.

I don't think magnetic effects on Plasma displays are meaningful at all to Cathode Ray Tube displays.

Hi Darren,
Yep, your plasma won't be affected by magnetic fields, you lucky fella. I used to have Polk Monitor 10s flanking my crt tv, with about 2 feet separation. This did lead to some color fringing on the corner of the TV, a Sony 27". While the drivers I'm thinking about using in my IB will be about 8 feet from the TV, their magnets are huge. I guess only time will tell if there will be a problem.
