Hi Guys,
Nice new forum.
Anyway... I'm getting back into the research mode for an IB sub. I'm probably going to go in-floor, I have 3' of crawl space and would like to build an IB that will be good for Home Theater. The drivers I was considering last year are of course all out of production. What is considered the best bang for the buck these days? My current sub is an Acoustic Elegance AV 15 PR'd with 500 watts. It is quite good and I'm looking to surpass it's performance with the IB which I know is easy. I'm trying to stay under $700 for amp and drivers and BFD if necessary. I can go more but it would be harder to convince the wife. Right now I've got her hooked on the WAF of an IB. I'd like to go with 4 drivers but will consider any combination that would produce the best output/quality balance.
Thanks for any input, I'll continue reading to see if I can answer more of my own questions but I didn't see much on this topic.

We're all twiddling our thumbs waiting on drivers.....
The AE-IB15's are a couple months away. And given this is a new production run, I don't see how John J. can hold the $100ea pricing.

I can wait a couple months I suppose for 4 $100 drivers from John, I do enjoy my AE AV15 I currently have and would love to use his drivers again. I hope he can hold the price point or keep it close as that would make my plans a lot easier
